Great Luxury Hotels in Lanzarote

Looking for great luxury hotels in Lanzarote? Lanzarote is full of volcanoes, lava fields, rocks in impossible shapes, black and red earth that contrasts with the typical whitewashed houses, the deep blue sea and the light blue sky. The scenery in the easternmost of the Canary Islands contains stark, rolling mountains, beautiful beaches of white and golden sand, lush palm groves and silence, which is why visitors love Lanzarote.

In Lanzarote, enter a fascinating underground world created by eruptions, enjoy volcanic tunnels and caves. But besides visiting the volcanic landscapes, enjoy its wonderful beaches on white or golden sand, and the crystalline turquoise waters. Many of the island’s beaches are great for children, as they are protected from waves and currents. Visit all of the beautiful Canary Islands here, or Pinterest.

Lanzarote Weather – When to Visit

With its location so close to Africa, you can expect hot and sunny weather throughout the year in Lanzarote. If you love the heat, the best time to visit Lanzarote is between the months of July and September. Temperatures rarely fall below 77°F and usually reaches at least 77°F at midday. I think Lanzarote is a good place to visit and I think this article is very informative

to help us for travel planning.  I like the information on the restaurants and bars.  This is helpful

as you really don’t know how good a place can be when you are in a different country.  The list of

hotels are also great.  Lani’s Suites Deluxe look wonderful.  And this hotel is for adults only, which

    I really like.  Thank you!

I’ve never heard of Lanzarote, but it’s amazing.
It reminds me of vacations at the sea in Romania.
European place close to Africa, I didn’t know.
I took up winsurfing and here is a good place for it.
Curiosities I had no idea about: the Atlantico Museum, the first underwater museum in Europe.
You can scuba, snorkel; eat seafood (I know but I haven’t eaten yet).
Gofio foam is something I would like to taste.
Restaurants, hotels, bars: nothing is missing.
    Respectfully
    Vasile,

This is the second of your articles that I have read about the Canary Islands.  It seems like a true destination vacation spot.  The description of everything from the scenery to the cost of hotels and recreational opportunities is amazing.  I was wondering about how difficult it is to travel between the islands.  Would this even be necessary.  I cannot imagine going to the Canary Island more than once so I would want to see as much as I could.  Thanks for this detailed information which really helps in planning a vacation.

I stayed the longest on Tenerife for three weeks.  I did not travel to any other island and I stayed perfectly content and busy for the entire 3 weeks.  I guess it all depends on what you want to do, or explore.

Thank you so much for this informative post!  I am a man of luxury when it comes to vacations, and that is why I am glad I found your review here.  Not just over the hotels though, but also the food and activies and the bars.  I love my alcohol and it looks like Lanzarote has plenty of bars I could go to visit.   I didn’t see it in the article, but do you know if they have any activities that would involve looking at the volcanos?

    1. Leahrae (Post author)

Yes, there are plenty of tours that take you to the volcanoes and into the caves.  It would definitely be an unforgettable experience.

I enjoyed reading about Lanzarote. This appears to be a very beautiful place to spend holiday time relaxing in the sunshine on one of the beaches.

I never think of eruptions as being anything other than unpleasant.  In other words, I have focused on the negative, never giving thought to the resulting creations, such as your mention of volcanic tunnels and caves.

I was intrigued reading about the underwater museum.  No doubt, this is well enjoyed by those who are confident divers.

Each of the Hotels appearing in your article looks amazing.  The one that appeals to me the most is the Gloria Izaro Club Hotel.  In saying that, each of those hotels appears inviting,  so it would be hard to make a final decision.

I agree, it would be hard to choose a hotel in Lanzarote.  I guess too, I would have to pick from what has openings and how close they  are to the areas that interest me the most.  Personally I have dived, but it is not something I am passionate about, so although the underwater museum is amazing, I am going to stick to shore activities LOL

Ohh i can see that they’ve plenty of best bars, however I’ve been staying far from drink for now. So I’ll  go and hangout  to the restaurants. La Casa de La Playa is my choice. The charge they do  is perfect. $11 – 30 bucks. I would love to be there within an hour by reading this article. I have never been to a place since the begining of the pandemic. Today with your post i feel like i am there.

Lanzarote, the fourth largest of the seven Canary Islands, is world-renowned for its beautiful beaches and gorgeous volcano landsapes. From reading your post, there is a lot to do and experience in Lanzarote! I have already jotted down some things I would love to do if I visit there in the future – go for a swim at Papagayo Beach with its quiet blue waters, visit Timanfaya National Park to explore the gorgeous volcanic landscapes, and check out the Cofradia de Pescadores Restaurante (I love seafood!). Bookmarked your page for future reference! Thanks for your great post!

Great, I love the Canary Islands, and yes the seafood is so wonderful.  You will find a lot of Octopus dishes there, not sure if you would venture into trying it, but it is delicious!

There are so many lovely places to visit in Lanzarote and I like the idea that you have listed the different places and who they are suitable for. Playa Flamingo sounds familiar and I’m a sure I have been there with my family. There’s certainly lots to do too for those who like adventure! My husband will love it!

It’s just as important to have value for money and lovely places to eat as well as beautiful beaches and I shall definitely look into Lanzarote again now that your article has brought it back to life for me.

    Thanks for sharing,

Lanzarote looks like another another beautiful beach destination and and absolute must to add to my bucket list. I have always wanted to do some some scuba diving, and the introductory scuba diving experience sounds perfect for me. Not to mention the catamaran sailing experience.

It will be hard to choose between all the restaurants, all offering delicious sounding food, but with all the seafood on offer at El Barquillo, it will be my first choice. Hopefully I can visit for long enough to try them all. Thanks for a great review on Lanzarote.

Lanzarote in 4K is incredibly picturesque. I see they have a lot of nice bars, but I’ve been staying away from drink for now. So I’ll hop on over to the restaurants. La Casa de La Playa is my choice. The price range is perfect. $11 – 30 bucks. But it offers diners an incredible view of the ocean from an outdoor patio.
