How did I not know about this place? I love how you gave me all the facts about the island before showing off all the tourist features. I think it was a great idea to include this in beaches since I believe people are looking for something different lately and that looks like it! Putting a map in the article is a great idea. I love to browse on a map before visiting so if I eventually go, then I will know where to find the infos. Such a thorough job once again!

Thank you very much for this discovery!

    What a lovely holiday review.
I have experienced black sand before, in Hawaii, quite strange! La Palma would be a lovely holiday destination and Tacazorte beach is from now on, on my bucket list. Timanfaya National Park sounds also very interesting. Thank you for sharing such a collective piece of information, I’ll definitely remember this one as a holiday one time.

La Palma is definitely a destination of choice in Europe. The hotels are of good quality and standing, and restaurants seem to be affordable while providing nice dishes. However, I need to look for activities other than visiting the national parks. Because of that, I’ll think twice before going there but I would consider it if I just want to go to the beach and enjoy my life.

I love the ocean and the beach, and now that international travel has opened up again, I can explore some exotic beaches to visit. La Palma seems like a beautiful destination, and I love the fact that some beaches would be almost deserted, as I prefer to holiday without the crowds.

Although you have presented me with some tempting hotels, would it be safe to camp on La Palma? Or would a combination of mosquitoes and other insects and possibly reptiles, make camping not a very pleasurable experience? Thank you.

Beautifully placed images and well-built site. Is there any tourist worries involved going overseas like this? You hear horror stories on any place even some I have been and ended up being a perfect vacation get away. We loved going to the Dominican Republic and St. Thomas. I love the links on your site and the reviews on the site were well written also.

I don’t list any places on my site that would not be a safe travel site.  Such as some areas in Mexico come to mind.  Of course you should always take precautions when you travel for sure.   I have been to St. Thomas a few times, and the ocean is so wonderful, so different then here in Florida.  The DR is a place where I would live if I could LOL

This is a wonderful vacation selection. I actually have not experienced black sand before. If you are not interested in getting wet the hundreds of miles of countryside give a magnificent view while you take a leisurely stroll or a long hike. The beautiful clear waters beg for you to go swimming in and each location you recommended would be perfect for a romantic sunset or a nostalgic sunrise. A fabulous choice for a getaway.
