Melbourne Beach Weather – When to Visit
Average temperatures in Melbourne vary somewhat. Considering humidity, temperatures feel hot for about half of the year and otherwise nice with a fair chance of precipitation about half of the year. The hottest months are July thru September. Highs are regularly around 91°F with temperatures rarely dropping below 75°F at night. The busiest months February, March and July. Prices for hotels and flights will be most expensive during these months, though you can save if you purchase well in advance.

This 12.39-acre regional beach park is a popular site for group activities. It features 3 dune crossovers, seasonal lifeguards, and volleyball courts. Picnic facilities include a large pavilion with seating for up to 200, grills, and 2 medium pavilions. Restrooms, park benches, and outside showers provide convenience.
Spessard Holland North Beach Park
Spessard Holland North Beach Park in Melbourne Beach is a 6.5-acre community beach side park with seasonal lifeguards. A popular family park featuring a 150′ boardwalk and two small pavilions, it provides easy beach access for surf fishing and beach goers. Additional amenities include public restrooms and outdoor showers.
Coconut Point Park
Coconut Point Park is a 36.9-acre community beach side park is a popular sea turtle nesting site. Also popular for surfing, beach combing and fishing, this Melbourne Beach park’s amenities include a picnic shelter, restrooms, and outside showers. One of the two dune crossovers is also wheelchair accessible. Coconut Point Park is also listed in state of Florida Great Florida Birding Trail’s.
