Sifnos Weather – When to Visit

The best time to visit Sifnos is from September to October. The Aegean water is still warm, most days are sunny, and daytime temperatures typically hover in the 70s and 80s. Much of the tourist infrastructure is still open for business, and fewer crowds cause room rates to drop. Beware, however, that some restaurants, hotels and other establishments begin to close for the season in late October or early November and won’t reopen until spring. You will find some great bargains during the winter, but temperatures will hover in the mid 50s.

    Leahrae,

What a fantastic post. A relaxing beach vacation with mild 70 and 80 degree weather sounds amazing right about now. We had a beach getaway planned before quarantine and COVID crazy hit, postponing it only makes me look forward to it more!

I’d never considered branching out and planning a trip oversees but this site has convinced me. I’m definitely going to look around and find more great info. Thanks for the post and great informational site.

Well I’m convinced. What a truly comprehensive description of many wonderful beaches and other attractions in Greece. The pictures are all an invitation to go there. You must be a travel agent to be so knowledgeable about all things Greek: the scuba scene, the sailing expeditions, the food and the accommodation. This post is a definite bookmark. Thank you!

There’s something about the white-colored buildings and blue ocean color that has always enchanted me about Greece. Your review of Sifnos Island and the video have only deepened that enchantment. Thanks for a “well-stocked” review. The multiplicity of restaurants and beaches to choose from as well as different itineraries are the perfect bonus. It is also so easy to get carried away with the image of paradise that you forget that the temperatures actually drop to 50 degrees. The weather advisory is well appreciated. Nevertheless, the great bargains during winter should still make for a good incentive to visit.

    We are Blessed.

Another wonderful island in Greece, it Isa good thing to learn about this one that you have on your website here. I just like to window travel. It’s a word I got from window shopping where a person travels to a lot of places whole sitting down somewhere. I get to see the beautiful beaches of nice places and travel to them in my mind. The sifnos island is a great travel for me. Thanks

That is a great term, window traveling!  However, I don’t know if that would be enough for me LOL  I do like to shop around for my next vacation, watch videos of the area, and have it all planned out.  But then I am ready to pack my bags and head out for a few weeks.  Makes it a great experience.

trust me Buddy, Sifnos is stunningly beautiful, with beautiful secluded beaches all around the island.
Kamares, the main port, is where I stayed. It shouldn’t be called a port, because that gives the wrong impression of dirty, busy town -not so with Kamares. It has a beautiful stretch of beach, with clear aquamarine water. it’s a place where all the fun lies and I have so much dreamt of taking on going for a vacation there after the pandemic,,

thanks for sharing such a unique article…definitely going to share it
