Milos Weather (When to Visit)
The best time to visit Milos for a beach vacation is the summer, from June to mid-September. Take a sweatshirt for cool evenings, which occur mainly in June, but given the intensity of the wind, it may feel a bit cool also in July and August. The Meltemi blows for long periods, especially in July and August, and it’s stronger in the afternoon, but can insist also in the evening. Thanks to this wind, the maximum temperature remains almost always below 86 °F, with possible high temperatures up to 95/97 °F.
Best Milos Beaches

This beach is one of the most beautiful beaches of Milos and surely the most particular one. Tsigrado is one of the most beautiful southern beaches of Milos. Located right next to Firiplaka, Tsigrado is a small sandy cove with crystal water. Going down this beach is a bit difficult as visitors have to pass through a rocky passage to get there. The surrounding environment with the rocky cliffs is quite impressive.
At 10 kilometers south of Adamas is the beautiful beach of Paleochori. Its crystal-clear waters are a perpetual temptation for swimming and the variety of colors and materials there is really amazing. Facilities for various water sports are offered in Paleochori as well as cafes, fish taverns and rooms for rent.
Agia Kiriaki Beach
Agia Kyriaki is a beautiful beach located on the southern side of Milos. Agia Kyriaki has lovely sand and the white pebbles along the waterside. This is a great place to practice waters sports. Along the beachfront there are several restaurants, cafeterias and beach bars.
Right next to the lovely beach of Tsigrado lies the superb beach of Firiplaka. It is a long beach with silver sand and huge colored rocks forming its coastline. The waters in Firiplaka are really exotic: crystalline and shallow green-blue, they never fail to enchant anyone who had the chance to swim in them.
