Avila Beach has two distinct seasons; dry summers and cool, foggy, rainy winters. There is very little fluctuation in the overall temperature of the year. If going to the beach is your purpose, then summer is the best time to visit Avila Beach.  Otherwise any time of year is great to visit Avila Beach.  From May – October, the average temperatures range from the 60s to the low 80s. You will not see a lot of rainfall during this time. So, for beach lovers, summer is perfect to lie down on the sand and enjoy the serene view of the sea.
