Begur Spain Hotels

Looking for Begur Spain Hotels? Begur is a pretty seaside town in the Catalonia region of Spain. Begur is one of the most beautiful and desired spots along the Costa Brava. Begur looks beautiful, set on a hill with the ruins of a 10th century castle looming above it. The village has a number of cafes, bars and restaurants along its narrow streets in which to relax. Then there are the beaches – four are within easy distance and all are stunning. In summertime a beach bus service runs and is highly recommended, as parking can be hard to find.

Begur is stylish, colorful, classy and packed with gastronomic delights, with beaches where you can enjoy unparalleled beauty and crystal clear waters. You really don’t need to do much in Begur, just enjoy the gorgeous coves like Sa Tuna and Aiguablava, and then choose a great restaurant for dinner. You can visit all of the best Spain beaches here. Begur Spain Weather – When to Visit

There isn’t one best time to visit Spain, because the country’s diverse offerings mean you can find something to enjoy at any time of year. April to May and September to October is the best time to visit Spain as the weather is mild and the crowds are moderate. Summer in Spain is packed with unforgettable events like Tomatina. Temperatures dip in October–November, and the possibility of rains is at its highest. Spring brings Easter celebrations (but crowded!) and revives all sorts of activities like Spain-to-Portugal Zip Line and hiking.

This is indeed a very enjoyable and well written article. I can definitely see myself travelling to a couple of these places mentioned Leahrae. While reading this post I was reminded of Dream Cruises which I sometimes watch on  the AWE channel. Cayo Santa Maria, Punta Cana, Riviera and the famous Varadero in Cuba. As soon as the virus is under control in these parts of the world I do have plans to travel to Cuba which is nearest to my country. However, one day in the future it is my dream to visit Spain and Catalonia. One also needs to consider the costs and ensure that  a trip to Spain can be accommodated within ones budget given the increase costs in air travel. Being a nature lover I was  refreshed  by just looking at all those various  beaches and seashores. Thank you for sharing very valuable travel information to several holiday locations.

Hi and thanks for sharing this. Many years ago I had friends who lived somewhat further down the coast from Begur. But from what I can see it all looks very similar. I am guessing that this place gets a lot of weekend visitors from Barcelona because of its location. Also being quite close to the border with France I am sure many French tourists come here too. I remember being so enamored of the area that we were looking around at properties to buy. Many years ago you could buy whole groups of houses for a small fraction of what they sell for today. Depending on the kind of vacation people would be looking for, unless you just want to walk down to a beach every day I would recommend including a hire car in your budget and taking off to explore inland. Great place! Best regards, Andy

Hi, this is such an amazing inspirational article. I have never been to Spain but one of my friends have been. He was completely in love with this country and he even mentioned to me that he wants to move over. We personally when we book tickets to go on vacation, we are looking for the tourist attractions, obviously the best deal and the best accommodation according to our budget. I believe you have incorporated all this in this wonderful article

Thank you for all the useful and all information described for everyone understanding.

Being ethusiastic about the nature and taking safe and effective alternative tp life, I have already spoted walking spots and a lot of sun exposure

With the lockdowns of these days is it possible to visit there this summer?

I love the layout, it makes planning a trip and finding something to do while i’m there. It makes it really easy to pick the beach I’d like to be closest to and then finding something to do near me while we’re there. It’s very informative and this place looks exactly like the placed I’d want to go to for my own blog.

    Hey Leahrae,

Great article on Begur Spain! I have never been to Europe before and was thinking about visiting either Spain or Italy. After reading this article with those amazing pictures, I think I am going to have to choose Spain! Your article was very helpful and insightful. I feel like if I go there tomorrow, I would have at least an idea of what to do and where to go. You even have phone numbers for the restaurants! That’s awesome!

I didn’t know that the town of Begur also included Esclanyà (with a Romanesque old part). This and the fact that some of the most prestigious beaches of the Costa Brava can be found here makes Begur a very atractive destination. Sa Riera seems to be their best beach. Thanks for this post.

This looks like a perfect place for a beach vacation. I love how you include a map for reference and many options to stay. Also, the best time of year to visit. I was wondering if flying how is the best method to get their, closest major airport around? Thanks

The closest major airport is Girona (GRO) and that would be your best bet getting there.  It’s about a 50 minute drive which you could drive yourself or hire a taxi.  Glad you enjoyed and thank you for visiting beach travel destinations.

Hi there, thank you for providing your readers with this enticing information about Begur Spain Beach Travels, and what to look forward to while in  Begur Spain Hotels.

I can see the beauty of these desired spots. Indeed Begur is an amazing place for any season of the year. I was so mesmerized by the sites. The beautiful restaurants, the narrow streets, the clear waters. I love Spain. I really do, both their tr transportation system, which is majorly modern trains. And the people are so neat ad and smart. With their all-year beautiful weather, there is no special time to visit. But, for me, I will prefer the month of September – October.

But, I would have loved to have the idea of the cost of the hotel rooms per day, and other likely expenses to expect while on such a visit. However, overall, I love the information and the images.

    Hi Leahrae,

Being a professional travel consultant myself, I would say this site looks terrific and professional as an online one-stop travel portal providing complete and detailed information, especially for ‘Sun, Sea and Sand lovers’.

From my own point of view as a customer, few things that I will look into if travelling abroad is tips on sourcing the best airfare deal, tips on getting a package deal, tips on accommodations. I think this info is available here and it does help readers to plan their vacation way much better and a lot cautious.

For cruise lover, so many tips and information about sea cruise and destinations. Questions like how, when, where, what about cruises are answered here.

For beach lovers, all the useful tips and information are properly well mentioned here (best beach gear, watersport gear). Plus, I also find familiar travel partners for readers to dig deep into their search such as airfare, accommodations and reviews which are completely useful for travellers.

There is a dropdown menu on the right side to select the category that I like to know more about, which is helpful. For example, traveller essentials and travel alerts are some of the categories that are good for the customer to know.

    I love your site!

    Thank you,

    Joe

Hello there! This is an informative article. I have heard of Spain as a wonderful place to travel too but I never knew where would be a good specific place to visit (especially when COVID-19 dies down more and I am planning to travel then). Seeing images of Beger in the video of your post, I am amazed. The crystal clear blue waters has been something I always wanted to experience. How hot can the temperatures reach up to during the summer? Thanks for compiling these great resources all together in one place.
