Vero Beach Weather – When to Visit

The best time to visit Vero Beach is in April when temperatures are still warm but hotels are more affordable.  At this time of the year hotel accommodations are going to be at their lowest rates.  Average temperatures will average in the mid 70s.  The busiest time for Vero Beach is late winter/early spring.  You can expect hotel rates to be at their highest during this period. Try avoiding the Christmas week (December 22nd to January 2nd) and the spring break week (March 28th to April 7th) if you’re on a budget; accommodation rates spike during these weeks.

My husband and I have two small children (3.5 and just 2) – so nightlight and fancy restaurants aren’t as high on the list as activities for kids and child-friendly hotels/restaurants, etc. Can you recommend a great place for a young family? Probably with a pool as it would be safer than the ocean if there are big currents in that area.
    Thanks!

Okay, I would hands down recommend the Vero Beach Inn & Suites. It is 1/4 mile away from the beach and the price is right. They have a great swimming pool for the children. You will be in a great area, with low cost meal choices. You can go to Expedia, https://www.expedia.com/Deals?PRID=1&AID=12534435&PID=8029635&affcid=network.cj.8029635.12534435 and look for a great deal for this hotel. Just put Vero Beach Inn & Suites in the search bar. This is your best bet, and I hope you and your family have a great time in Vero Beach!

Very detailed and in depth travel guide. Looks like a great place. I’m from the UK and have never been to Florida although I travel to the US often as my GF is American. Looks like a destination to put on the list. Kayaking and snorkelling sounds more my kind of thing as opposed to lying on the beach and the food places are always an interest of mine! Thanks for a great article.

    Hi Leahrae

Vero Beach looks great! I didn’t know about it until now, thank you for the detailed information. I have written down the name and all the information provided in the post that will help me greatly if I decide to go on a “romantic getaway”. Does it get crowded during the summer?

    Thanks,

You know Luis, it does get crowded, but much less so than Miami Beach or some of the more well-known popular areas. It would make a great romantic getaway.

You’ve seemed to cover everything around the vacation in Vero beach from restaurants, hotels, and all sorts of activities that one can do once he’s there and I like that. This information is great for anyone interested to visit the U.S, Florida in particular, and take the opportunity to go there.
I was in Burgas, Bulgaria last summer and from what I’ve read above they both look very similar in terms of activities and environment, and I must say that I LOVED Burgas (I visited the Sunny Beach there and stayed in a hotel there) and thus will surely love the Vero beach.
Although the many pubs and restaurants you’ve mentioned above, I would spend 80% of my time on the beach and be doing water sports and swimming!
    Great article, thanks.
