Naples Weather – When to Visit

The best time to visit Naples is between March and May. Average temperatures are between 70s – 80s, which is ideal weather for going to the beach, shopping outdoors or golfing. On a financial note, if you visit between these months, you’ll dodge the winter price increases. Despite the price spikes, December – February is peak season thanks to high average temperatures when compared to the rest of the United Sates.

Summer, while hotter but cheaper, is still a busy time thanks in part to school being out. But for some the high humidity and temperature can feel uncomfortable. But if its tolerable for your family you will find wide-open beaches and accommodation rates far below the average cost of peak season. September – October features a brief decline in rates and crowds but it can still feel like summer.

Naples is such a beautiful place (from what I’ve seen in posters and movies). I have never had the chance to visit the area and now I am talking about taking our vacation there with my girlfriend.

I just booked a room at GreenLinks Golf Villas at Lely Resort and we are now trying to plan what we are going to be doing each day during our stay there.

Thanks a lot for giving us an insight into what the area has to offer. This was really helpful!

    Hey

That’s a great travel guide. I’m sure you have covered almost all the aspects of it. Naples, I have never been there but my Aunt did. She is an NRI (non-resident Indian). I remember he recalling her experience in Florida, a couple of years back. I loved it. She mentioned the nightlife and the bar over there and said they really light up the place. Well, let’s see when I make that trip, hopefully soon than I imagine. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers

I have bartender all over the world, only South Beach and Coco Beach in Florida. I have never even been to Naples but after peeking around your site and reading up on a few bars you listed like Vodka Bar & Grill, I am wondering what the nightlife is like in Naples? Mostly tourists, a lot of locals, are they any big seasonal events run out of Naples? I think if this meets my requirements, I found my next last job haha. Great site, very informative.

The nightlife is going to be a mix of tourists and locals.  I think you are going to find it to be a little bit of both.  During the summer, of course, you will find a lot of tourists there.  As far as events, you have the Summer Jazz Festival at the end of September, the Naples International Film Festival at the end of October, and the Pro Watercross World Championship in October – November.  There are a lot of other smaller events throughout the year, but these are the big ones.  Thanks for reading!

Another great review. I am wondering what was left of Florida after the past few weeks. Busy hurricane season this year, eh? I am going down to FL twice over the next few months(that I know of so far) and hope that it has been cleaned up well for all your post readers to take advantage of the posts you have about the great state of Florida.

Yes, it really has been cleaned up well. They seemed to take top priority in cleaning up the beaches. There are still mounds….large mounds of debris in front of most houses, including mine. Anyway, I have been heading to different beaches taking videos, and the beaches still look beautiful, more so maybe with the “grooming” 😀 And yes, it is a great state! Thank you so much for visiting my Naples Travel Guide.

What’s the best time of the year to visit Naples?

    1. Leahrae (Post author)

You know it really depends on a lot of things.  I live close to Naples, and I can say that the water starts to get cold the middle of October.  I think the end of September to beginning of October is a great time.  First a LOT of families visit Florida during the summer months and it gets very crowded.  Do not go at Spring Break, that is the worst time to go unless you like lots of crowds.  Once school starts, the beaches really clear out and it is so much nicer.  Another good time would be early spring around April or May.  Please let me know if you need any other information.

I enjoyed reading your web page a lot. Just so happens I’m in the market for a good vacation right now. Naples, Fla. looks like a great place to visit. You provide a lot of useful information on places/beaches for travelers to visit. Good content and visuals. Can you recommend a good hotel on the beach there? In the past, I haven’t found many good airfare deals to Naples vs. Miami or Ft. Lauderdale. Do you know what airline has the best offers? I liked your visuals, they make the reader want to travel there. I hope you have a lot of success with your site.

Thank you so much Mick.  Boy, as far as airlines go, it really depends on where you are flying from.  For instance, from Texas you can fly into Florida super cheap.  As low as $57 round trip on Spirit Airlines.  It really depends on where you are flying out of.  You can check flight prices on the various flight search sites and see which is the most economical.  Let me know if you have any other questions.

My husband and I live in Florida, and we’ve made it into a bit of a hobby to try a different beach every time we’re up for a beach trip. You really can’t go wrong with Florida beaches, but this review of Naples’s beaches is VERY tempting and I am now considering that we head down south for our next trip.

This is one of the most informative articles that I have read regarding travel. My family is actually trying to find a place to vacation for next summer and Naples seems pretty cool. The restaurant and night life pricing parts were very helpful as well.

By chance, have you heard anything about which restaurant and night club are the best to visit?
