This is an organized, easy to follow, beautiful travel site.  The beaches and area look wonderful although I think the town is a bit to hectic for us on vacation.  The restaurants you have listed all seem wonderful.  If this is part of our travel this year, it will be because of the beaches and the activities that you have listed.  Parasailing is something we have talk about and here it is.  Thanks for this attractive, informative article.

    Hi Leahrae,

You are probably a lady who has traveled a lot and knows where it is good to stay. Your reviews are always excellent and a bull’s eye.

This time you have now chosen Armação dos Búzios in Brazil. The nice thing about it is that I think it is usually still almost unknown cities that you discuss and that makes it so attractive.

As I am used to from your previous reviews, there is again enough information available for the enthusiast.

The descriptions of the different beaches, restaurants, hotels, practical tips, excursions and much more are available. Truly a full-fledged brochure for those who plan to go there!

    Keep it up!

    Yours sincerely,

These beaches in Armacao dos Buzios look fantastic. I am probably like many other people out there who haven’t taken a beach holiday in the last two years because of COVID and I’ve been wondering where to go. The hotel prices look reasonable here too. I guess the only thing that would make me nervous at present is that Brazil has not been managing the pandemic very well. You said that in their winter down there the temperatures are still warm. My wife and daughter are both sensitive to humidity levels. Is there a time when the humidity is lower or is it always high because of the sea?

    Thanks, Andy

Yes, I live on the beach, and because of COVID, I didn’t head to the beach once.  During the Spring I did go a few times before all the crowds started pouring in.  August is going to be the least humid month to visit.  It is still humid, but a lot less humid.  Hope this answers your question.  Please let me know if I can answer anything else for you.

This looks like paradise. I’ve never been to Brazil and I’ve always wanted to go there. I’ve seen several nice places online that I’d like to visit in Brazil and I’m glad that I found this article too. The beaches look amazing! And I’d love to go diving there!

In the winter months, is it warm during the day but cools down at night? What are the average daytime temperatures during the winter months? I was once in Colombia during the summer and it was incredibly humid. I can imagine that the climate is probably similar in Brazil, so are summers also very humid over there?

The winter temperatures are going to average between 55°F and 64°F.  So for me, it would be pretty chilly LOL  The humidity depends on the time of year you go.  It is humid during the rainy season, otherwise more on the dry side.  Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Hello Leahrae

What beautiful beaches on the Brazilian coastline and so many quality hotels to choose from! You have given a very detailed picture of Armacao dos Buzios and this makes me want to visit it. This is a part of the world I have never been to.

Out of the beaches you mentioned, Azedinha Beach seems very appealing. I am not into diving or paragliding but the Boat Tour in Arraial do Cabo with Lunch would definitely interest me. Thanks for sharing.

Please write an article about the beaches in Bulgaria.

There are so many beaches in our neighbors that I don’t know (I’m from Romania).

So many things to see that I didn’t deserve.

I knew about Brazil that it is exotic and wonderful, but what I saw here is worth seeing.

How many possibilities for swimming and diving!

Distance is a big impediment for me.
    Respectfully

I have been to Buzios and always recommend it to people who are visiting Brazil! My friends have a vacation home in nearby Cabo Frio, so we didn’t need overnight lodging, but I’m definitely surprised by how affordable it looks to stay the night in Buzios!

Buzios definitely has an upscale vibe, so dress to impress as you stroll the cobblestone streets and enjoy the good life!

I wanted to ask, can you please write an article about beaches in South Africa. There is quite a few beaches that are very beautiful that people do not know about. I will be sure to check out this beach on the internet. It is definitely a nice location to travel to if you want to take a break from all the madness of the world.

One of the things I like the most about Armacao dos Buzios is that we can go there all year round. And this is true of all of Brazil. It tends to get quite cold here in the winter. So, I was planning with my family to go spend a couple of weeks in Brazil towards the end of January. And take advantage of our trip to spend three days at Armacao dos Buzios.

I usually choose to vacation in coastal towns, so I was very excited to learn about Armacao dos Buzios. You had me at cobblestone streets! I appreciate you pointing out that March or April would be a better time to visit, and March is the time frame I usually plan our getaways because by then I am sick of the New Jersey cold. I think I’d definitely love to visit the Serra das Emerências viewpoint, as I enjoy taking nature photos and soaking in God’s beautiful creation around me.
