The town is easily navigable on foot, but buggys are available for rent at the village with or without driver.

Porto De Galinhas appears to be a beautiful place to experience a relaxing holiday, far away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Not only do the beaches appear to be beautiful, but each of the hotels also appears to be of superior quality.
And to add to those are those wonderful Bars and Restaurants.

It would not be easy deciding which beach to spend time at. However, as walking along a beach is my preference rather than swimming, I would be keen to experience some time at Serrambi Beach with the crystal clear shallow waters.

If I choose to have a holiday at Porto de Galinhas, are you aware of how long ahead I would need to make a booking?  I’m aware that most luxury holiday venue reservations are fully booked well ahead of holiday seasons.

Thanks for providing such helpful information and beautiful images.  I certainly am attracted to the possibility of a holiday in Porto De Galinhas

Again you have provided an amazing travel site.  We had never heard of Porto De Galinas but now have it on our list of places to visit.  It is easier to feel comfortable with a hotel when someone has recommended it so thanks for helping out.  We also appreciate the sampling of activities to enjoy in this town.  There is a lot to see in the world, but you are helping us pick places.  Again, we are going to check on the exchange rate and comparative cost in Brazil.  Thanks for this beautiful suggetion.

Wow, Porto De Galinhas looks like a beautiful, hidden gem of a beach vacation town! The natural features of the beaches and the natural pools are so inviting, and the brightly colored architecture adds even more of a welcoming, festive vibe. Now I just need to figure out when I can travel and who I’ll take with me! 😉

Thanks, Leahrae for giving me a tour of Brazil and Porto de Galinhas, which is a town in northeastern Brazil. I love the naturally made ponds and the local seafood which they called “churrascarias”. The Muro Alto Beach is nice for scenic beauty along with freshwater but if you love surfing and need more private time then check out the Maracaípe Beach a quiet and empty beach full of clean sea and a more wild look. For food and accommodation, there are a lot of options like  RMaRdioca, Cafe da Moeda,Caipi Onda, Temakeria do Porto nad many more where you get good seafood along with drinks.

I have never heard of Porto de Galinhas, let alone visited it, but from reading your post, it surely is a nice beach destination in northeastern Brazil with multiple beaches to choose from. Porto de Galinhas isn’t a place that comes to mind when I think of Brazil, but your post helps to give me a better sense of what it is like there and what I can expect if I am to visit there.

Porto de Galinhas is yet another beautiful Brazilian destination with beaches that stretch for miles. I don’t like street vendors or beach vendors that try and push merchandise onto me, so will avoid the beaches with too many.

Visiting the reefs will definitely be on my to-do list and the “piscinas naturais” in a jangada, the local raft tour, sounds amazing. What a great way to visit the reefs and see the fish. Thanks for bringing Porto de Galinhas to life.

What a beautiful place Porto De Galinhas is!  Those beaches go on forever.  I think I would pick one of the more secluded beaches as I can’t stand pushing street vendors!  I’ve encountered this before and it just ruins my whole day.   Maracaípe Beach, perhaps, so I could watch the surfers.  I’d also love the Maragogi beach day as well as the Recife & Olinda tour because you KNOW how much I love the historic tours!

I like the Summerville resort the scenery I’m in love with. Porto de galinhas has such beautiful water, it is interesting to see how clear it is and clean it is as well, being able to see the fish and various sea creatures you get to see if you are lucky, definitely a spot for tourism. I am also interested in Serrambi beach, being able to see coral which is intriguing and an interesting site to be at boats being able to sail there and seeing a variety of fish as well.

I have seen pictures of Porto de Galinhas. It is impressive how we can see all the fish. The water is so clear.

I also saw some pictures of several beautiful Coral reefs. And there was a cool pool in the shape of Brazilian geography.

I would like to go to Porto de Galinhas. It would be nice to book for next March or April.

I don’t know why, but I thought that this place was in Portugal because it has Porto in its name and that is a city in Portugal. I have always wanted to visit Brazil but never got the chance to because I have always been busy. This is a great place to stay at the day I do decide to visit. Thank you

Hi, I’m happy to read this article about the Porto de Galinhas destination. Brasil is one of the countries we want to visit, and this destination here is one of the best to see. I’m impressed by the beauty of Beach Porto de Galinhas Natural Pools, and I hope to visit it one day. Also, the other beach on this list for my family choice is Cupe Beach, which is suitable for kids’ swimming. Thank you for recommending in detail daily activity choices, hotels, and restaurants., I agree that December -March is the best period to visit this destination enjoying at the same time beaches, festivals, and other activities.
