Ever since I was a child, my parents went on holiday to Portugal, but mostly also Spain. The beaches are so beautiful there and I remember that I was scuba diving for hours. I didn’t hear about Sitges before though, so that was a surprise. But it definitely looks like a nice surprise, the beaches look stunning! So thanks for writing a blog post about this, I will have to save up for my next holiday!

Okay, this is such a comprehensive list of hotels and restaurants near Sitges Spain Beach. I’ll follow your suggestion to visit there in May next year since it will be a long holiday period in my country. By the way, I didn’t see any vegan or vegetarian-friendly restaurants on your list. Is there any that you can recommend? Thanks

Yes, there are plenty of vegan restaurants.  I would try one of the following (or all :):

Costa Barcelona, Queenz Restaurant, Cinc Food Parlour, or Mama’s Picanteria

Thanks so much for visiting my Sitges Spain Beach Hotels guide.

I’ve driven down that way before and it was absolutely amazing. Although, it was a little bit expensive down that neck of the woods, but definitely amazing.  The whole coast of Florida looks amazing really.  I have read several of your guides. Thanks for posting. I’ll put this on my bucket list next time I am down that way and stay awhile 🙂

I have never been to Spain and had never thought of visiting but after reading your article I have to think again. The places looks beautiful and very inviting.

I have a 3 year old and it looks like she can be very safe in any of these places. I loved it each time you said “family beach”, because as a parent you always want to travel with your children and it can be difficult to find safe places. Thank you, this was very helpful.

I appreciate this travel information and learned quite a bit. Beach hotels in Spain get my attention since I currently live near the beach and I love the ocean. Also, I also enjoy finding accommodations near the beach when I travel. I also like to know about the best places to experience the cuisine in an area. Since we will be traveling to Portugal soon, you have inspired me to check out Spain as well.

Wow, I have never heard of Sitges, the St Tropez of Spain. The way in which you describe it, it needs to be added to my bucket list! I have only been to Barcelona, and it appears that several of the tours are operated from Barcelona, so it must be quite close then. I do like your description of bohemian elegance. I live in Italy, so know how busy the beaches are in the summer, so a visit in June or September will be a far better time to avoid the crowds.

Oh wow, you live in a beautiful place!  Yes, it is close to Barcelona.  Probably not too bad of a flight from Italy either.  For me it took a good 24 hours of traveling. Thanks for stopping by my Sitges Spain Beach Hotels guide.

oh wow. I have never been to Spain and I did not know that Spain was this beautiful. Me and my husband travel at least twice a year to a new place we have never seen before. Since last year April, we have not been to any place because of the Covid-19 pandemic. We do place to  resume our routine was the travel restrictions are lifted and we have been looking for places to go to. I am definitely putting Spain on the list. I think I love the Barra Beach. I love how it looks and maybe because you said it is quieter and perfect for children. Thank you for that advice that is one wants to avoid crowds one can visit in May, June and September.
