Seabrook Island Weather – When to Visit

The best time to visit Seabrook Island is from March to May or from September to November when temperatures are mild – but not stifling. Hotel rates, however, will be high, especially around Easter. Also, the city will be thick with crowds “ooh-ing” and “ahh-ing” at the blooming magnolia trees, the Southern fried food and their tour guide’s ghost stories. Steer clear of high prices and tourist swarms by visiting in the late fall or early winter.

Temperate weather accompanies blooming trees and flowers, making spring one of the best times to vacation in Seabrook Island. The warm 60 to 80-degree temperatures usher in a colorful array of blooms throughout the city, which you can tour during the annual Festival of Houses and Gardens. But you won’t be alone in a springtime visit: Prepare for high hotel rates and hordes of tourists competing for lodging space, especially around the Easter holidays. Avoid the large crowds and steep rates with a mid-week visit instead of a weekend stay.

Wow, awesome article! Thanks for sharing!
I’ve never been to Seabrook island sc beach, but I will very soon when the Coronavirus will be gone:)There are lovely bars and hotels there. The Tyde Folly Beach hotel seems great, and I see it has great ratings. I can now plan my next holiday with ease thanks to this useful guide. How long time do you think we should spend in Seabrook to explore the whole place?
    Thanks!

You could spend a week there and see quite a bit of the area. There are lots of areas in and around Charleston. If you wanted to explore them all, then 2 weeks would be your best bet. Thanks for visiting Daniella.

I never knew South Carolina has such beautiful spots. I like the break down which enables one to make a good choice from so many choices.

I’m sure the tour, as well as the eco-cruise, will be an enjoyable experience as well as the range of restaurants around. The price is also reasonable.

I love the Charleston area, but haven’t been in years. I have never made it to Seabrook Island. After reading this, it is now on my list of places to visit. I have to admit after relocating to North Myrtle Beach, I haven’t visited many other beaches anywhere. I am hoping this mess with the current state of th country will end soon and all the South Carolina Beaches get back to business. We are looking forward to the Summer.

What a beautiful destination for a vacation getaway! Although the weather is too cold for swimming at those beaches right now, it’s the perfect time to plan for a trip in the warmer months. I appreciate the helpful list of places to eat as well — I am already looking forward to having a fantastic seafood meal while vacationing on the SC coast!

I never new that South Carolina has such beautiful beaches and Seabrook Island certainly looks as if one can walk for miles on the sand. Charleston also offers many other activities for their visitors and I would love to see the magnolias when they are in bloom.

South Carolina is definitely on my wish list and Seabrook Island looks like a lovely and upscale place to visit!!  I would love to ride a horse on North Beach.  I would also like to take  Charleston’s Old South Carriage Historic Tour, Charleston See-It-All Sightseeing Bus Tour and Charleston’s Historic Residential Carriage Tour, as I enjoy learning about the history of the places I visit and Charleston is full of it.  How far is Charleston from the island?  Is there a bridge or does one have to take a ferry?

I am particularly interested in pelican beach since I have small children. By the looks of it I’m sure they’ll both enjoy themselves in the sand while I snap some photos. Hope I can visit someday. to watch the sunset. Has anyone ever visited the nearby hotels? Would like a good recommendation.
