The warm season lasts from May 9 to October 5 with an average daily high temperature above 88°F. The hottest day of the year is July 18, with an average high of 91°F and low of 75°F. The cold season lasts from December 8 to February 24 with an average daily high temperature below 77°F. The coldest day of the year is January 19, with an average low of 53°F and high of 73°F.
There are two airports in Fort Myers. Southwest International Airport is 14 miles from Fort Myers. Charlotte County Airport is 24 miles, and Naples Municipal Airport is 42 miles away.
