Exmouth Weather – When to Visit
Winter (May thru October) is the most popular time to visit the Pilbara region of Australia’s North West. Daytime temperatures range from 68°F to 86°F, perfect for enjoying all outdoor activities. On the coast, nights are cool with fresh breezes, while inland the wind off the desert can see temperatures a little chillier.
For the best whale sharks and humpback whales, the best time to visit the Ningaloo Reef is between the end of March and October. April and July are the best time if you are wanting to snorkel with a whale shark. August thru October is the best time to see humpback whales up close.

Budleigh Salterton Beach
Swimming is safe and the water clear, families can relax here, with the beach side cafes, beach huts and the rocks at Ottermouth giving parents and children plenty to explore.
Sandy Bay Beach
Ideal for families, this sandy beach offers a great location to spend some quality time. Along the shore there are rock pools ideal for crabbing in. The beach is great for swimming and water sports, and there are lifeguards during the summer months.
Exmouth Beach is well celebrated for its two miles of golden sand, rare on this coast and fascinating rock pools it’s a paradise for children and adults alike. Exmouth Beach has plenty of water sports – kite surfing, kayaking, standup paddle boarding and windsurfing.
Bundegi Beach is calm and pristine. Bundegi Beach has boat launching facility and ample parking for boat trailers, located at the southern end of Bundegi. A perfect beach for SUPing, Kayaking, fishing and relaxing.
