Dewey Beach sounds like a lot of fun. I’d like to try out the paddleboarding, or parasailing. The only only time I’ve been to a beach was when it was too chilly to really enjoy, so I’d love to check out a place like this in the summer time! It would be cool to be able to see some marine wildlife!

Yes, best time is while it is warm.  That is when the marine life come close too.  I love paddle boarding.  I am getting ready to get another one, so I can have someone to come with me.  It’s peaceful but also a workout.  You’d enjoy!  Thanks for stopping by my Dewey Beach Hotels guide.

This was perfect timing!  I have been looking into different beach vacations. Delaware is a place that I normally wouldn’t think about going. I live in AZ- so I often go to San Diego which is 5 hours away. The 80’s would be a welcomed temperature considering it gets to over 100 degrees in Phoenix. From the images, the beaches look clean and well maintained.  Perhaps this is a place I’ll consider going now- thank you!

Many times the environment surrounding an hotel is one of the reasons why we visit it, same will apply to Dewey Beach hotels. I love the way you describe the surrounding beaches and restaurant. I will like to see Rehoboth Beach, fits in your description of been modern and old fashioned at the same time. Stand up paddle board is another activity I am going to try.

I’m interested in Dewey Beach kayak rentals. They have told me it’s awesome. And super safe, they explain all the things we can do and can’t. And they provide life jackets. I am particularly interested in exploring the north cove of Rehoboth Bay. I have seen it in pictures and the scenery is amazing.

This sounds like a wonderful place to holiday when you want the beach and all the watersports. I especially like the banana boats for family fun and it is great that you tell us the best time to go, especially if we want to miss the crowds. I think my favorite spot was Hotel Dewey the rooms look really nice and it’s close to everything. I’m a huge fan of beach holidays so I will be planning one here as soon as the world reopens. One thing I love to do when on holiday is to ride horses on the beach. Is there anywhere to do this in Dewey?

    A great review thanks.

WoW! This comes in handy for this summer. It’s always hard to chose a good beach destination to spend the holidays but with your article this is not a problem anymore! I love the seaside and to swim – my husband prefers the mountain – but I think this place could be loved by everyone, beach goers and not.

    Thank you,

Perfect timing of this post just as my family is trying to plan the next vacation. We’ve been stuck home, not able to travel for almost 1.5 years so the prospect of being able to travel soon is very exciting. Also, this next family vacation feels very special. What a better place for a vacation than Dewey Beach. It looks beautiful and relaxing. Thanks to the details you have provided, we will be able to plan our vacation when it comes to the beaches we want to visit, food we want to eat and activities we will want to do. Thank you so much for sharing.

    Hi, Leahrae!
I believe that Dewey Beach won’t be a destination I would choose in the first place… I’m afraid I’m not a water sports lover. However, when I came across one of the beaches you mention, Rehoboth Beach, it caught my attention!
I know that you are a beach enthusiast like I am and you do an excellent job by posting great travel destinations on your website. Have you ever thought of visiting my home country??!
Thank you for your post and keep safe.

Wow, Delaware. Never would I have thought of wanting to go there. Not that there is anything wrong with the state, I just didn’t expect such a great beach location.

    I’m very intrigued now.

Thanks for providing so many interesting activities to choose from along with an assortment of hotels and restaurants.

Dewey Beach could be my next vacation spot…

Dewey beach looks amazing. I have been browsing through your website enjoying the options you referred to. I am actuaally seriously thinking of a road trip as it is hard to tell now where exactly I would go. We love road trips and I would say it’s a win-win combination after more than a year-long stay at home.
