Best Luxury Jericoacoara Brazil Hotels

Looking for the best luxury Jericoacoara Brazil hotels? Jericoacoara, or Jeri for short, is the most adventurous beach town in Brazil, and the base for all kinds of dune and ocean-based fun. The coast around Jeri is home to top-class kite-surfing, decent surf, buggies and quad-bike trips around the dunes and lagoons, sand-boarding horse-rides along empty stretches of sand, and epic 4×4 journeys by beach along Brazil’s fabulous north-east coastline. Jeri is great for those who love adventure – dunes, sea, sun, sand, scenery, and sunsets.

Jeri is only accessible by 4×4 vehicles, dune buggies, and really ambitious motorbikes. Why? Because it is completely surrounded by sand dunes and the sea. Normal cars can’t handle the terrain and would end up deserted in the desert if they tried. Due to this wonderful seclusion, the town is extremely safe. Keep reading to find out about wonderful Jeri, and the best luxury Jericoacoara Brazil hotels. Visit the most amazing beaches in Brazil here, or on Pinterest.

    Hello,

I am organiizing my next summer holidays and I’ve been thinking about going to Brazil. One of my friends went there twice and she loves it so much that she advised me to go too. Unfortunately I can’t go there in Sep-Nov because of work. Jeri seems like a lot of fun. I love surfing and I read that there are several surfing activities. Is it expensive to rent your surfing material there? Many thanks!

No, not too expensive.  Well worth it for sure!  Thanks for visiting Beach Travel Destinations, and for taking the time to leave me comments.

I love the idea of a beach location that is a challenge to reach. Your comment that the difficulty of accessing the area means that it is safe reminded me of the need to think about such issues. This certainly seems like a great place to go if you want to take buggy tours every day. I love the idea of swings on the beach and ladders to climb to viewing platforms in the trees. Very cool. It looks like a fabulous location. I was just trying to work out how complicated it would be to fly from New York but I guess I would let a travel agent work that out. Thanks for sharing. Andy

Wow, for anyone who hasn’t been to Brazil’s beaches, these pictures say it all! There are so many unique geographies to look at and enjoy. The warm weather and lively culture make a person want to learn Portuguese and move there permanently. This article reminds me that I need to make a trip back soon, as a freak rainstorm cancelled our plans for riding dune buggies along the beach last time… but it’s still definitely on my Brazilian bucket list!

What an adventure it must be to visit Jericoara, or Jeri. To be able to only get there with a 4×4 vehicle, does make it seclusive, and I am sure that in itself, is an unforgettable experience. Taking a buggy ride through the sand dunes to get to Paradise Lagoon, will definitely be on my list to do.

Mangue Seco beach with swings and wooden ladders to a viewing platform, sounds very special, and another definite on my list.

Those beaches look absolutely amazing, Brazil is definately on the top of my list of places to go in my life and your article is very informative and has some great beach location shots.

Love the video, gives a bit of an insight to night life etc. have you ever been to Brazil yourself? Can you get surfing lessons while your out there?? Think my favourite beach to visit would be Tatajuba beach.

Great information on the types of activities out there, with the prices of bars and restaurants also the hotel ratings.

good article look forward to more.

Jericoacoara looks like exactly what I’ve been looking for. The beaches look amazing, which my wife would enjoy because she likes to relax on vacation. However, I am really into the adventure that Jeri would offer. Sandunes, dune buggies, surfing, and the other opportunities. The fact that the town is very safe is also a huge plus in my book.

    Hey,

I think this is a really beautiful ode to the Jericoacoara region in Brazil. You clearly notice that you are a big fan of that area!

Literally all the interesting things are discussed by you: the best time to visit, the various beaches, tours and activities, restaurants, clubs and bars, and hotels.

All this is very clearly and completely explained and rightly touted. For someone who is planning to go there, better print and keep your page because literally all the basic information is listed.

In the trip we’re planning to Brazil, there may be time to go to the Brazilian state of Ceará. If we manage to go, I will not let go by the opportunity of visiting Jijoca de Jericoacoara. That is quite a long name. But I have been told that the beaches are equally long and beautiful!

Jericoacoara looks like a wonderful place to go!  I love the fact that Mangue Seco Beach has swings but you wouldn’t catch me climbing up any ladders!  I would take advantage of the private buggy ride, though.  I love to learn about the places I visit and this appears to be a lovely tour of 3 beaches.  I’d also take advantage of the full private tour, as the price is great for a full-day ride!

    Hi there,

I am a soccer lover and Brazil is one of my favourite travel destinations simply because it is a soccer nation.

Now spiced up with such beautiful holiday destinations and beaches, I maintain, nothing will stop me from visiting this nation,

I want to believe, seeing from the support and the love of their nation, that Brazilians are hospitable people too. The beaches look quite beautiful and the hotels seem very affordable too
