Wauw what a great and entertaining website. Everything looks so professionally done, it looks really really great! I also really like your writing style. How did you end up choosing this niche? Are you someone who travels a lot yourself? Have you built websites before? I could learn a lot from just looking at your website. It really looks amazing. How long ago did you set up this website? I started a little over 3 months ago… Really excited for what’s to come!

Hope this comment finds you well, and have a lovely day!

This looks a wonderful place, Learae.

I’m a Brit who’s visited the States a couple of times doing the usual touristy things like Orlando, as well as New Orleans and Washington DC.

Next on our American ‘To Do’ list was New England, but you’ve opened our eyes a bit here. We’d never really thought about Delaware and we’re the kind of people who like to get off the beaten track and avoid the tourist trails. Delaware doesn’t seem to be very heavily promoted in the tourist literature so this could be what we’re really looking for – somewhere picturesque and peaceful and – by the looks of it – a bit of a foodie’s paradise!

I’m going to do a bit more research and we’ll maybe change our plans accordingly.

    Cheers

    Rich 🙂

This sounds like a great family holiday spot. I was just wondering about the seasons? When is the best time to come here? It sounds like the winter is too cold, right? I live in Sweden and I always think that the weather is about the same but I’m not sure. When I’ve been to London I always get so surprised how much warmer it is.

You’ll be surprised here as well.  The weather is fairly warm in the summer.  It does get a bit chilly in the winter.  Fenwick Island attract visitors year round.  Just depends on what you are wanting to do.  If you love the beach, then the summer is the best time to head there.  Thanks for visiting beach travel destinations.

You’ve got everything covered! I’m ready to do some paddling and eating and drinking in Delaware! Fenwick Island looks like the perfect destination for someone from Florida to get away from the tourists and enjoy the coast amongst the northern folk. I only need to pack and I’m ready to go.

I have not been to the beach in what feels like forever. I feel like I could even do a day trip or two days since I don’t live too far from Delaware. These travel destinations are not only beautiful and exciting but more than affordable as well. I really appreciate how you broke down each option and I’m curious what you would say is the best choice. They all look great so I was wondering which beaches, tours, and/or restaurants you would recommend the most. Thanks for sharing!

Everything I list are my top recommendations Nicholas 🙂  I live on the beach, and this year with the red tide and such, I didn’t visit near as often either.  I plan to make up for it next summer tho LOL.

Wow, I’ll have to visit the Fenwick Island Lighthouse, which was built in 1859 because  I find it fascinating. I think the Trans-peninsular line is incredible, and being in two states at the same time would be wonderful to me.
Visiting Rehoboth Bay will almost certainly be a memorable event for me.
and I realize that there are a lot of lovely things to see.
I’ll definitely go parasailing, and I think it’ll be a lot of fun. Flying may also be a terrific experience for me.
I see a great selection of restaurants, so I’ll make it a point to visit the majority of them and enjoy a wonderful holiday with my family.

Hi Leahrae. Fenwick island sounds like a fantastic place to visit. The beaches look simply amazing. I’d love to take out a paddle board or a kayak, or maybe even both. You have provided your readers with an incredible amount of accommodation to choose from and the prices are extremely attractive.

I’m reading your blog while relaxing on my couch in Queensland Australia. As soon as we are able to travel again (I hate Covid), my wife and I intend to plan a trip to the US and Canada, I believe that Fenwick island will be placed on our ‘must do’ list. I will contact you for more accommodation details when the time is right. Jim

I’d never gone to this area before and was seeking some recommendations. The drone footage of Fenwick Island, Delaware’s lengthy stretch of beach is very stunning. Fenwick Island appears to be rather wonderful. The water is clear, I just hope that the place isn’t that crowded. Are there any sharks in the area?

No, there have not been an issue with sharks here, so no worries.  It does not get to crowded but accommodations do fill up quickly.

I like your website and it is organized. Even though I have never been to these places, it looks nice and beautiful from the picture. Looks like a good place to spend vacation during the warm weather and the beach nearby. Since I was young I like going to beaches. It seems the hotel price are reasonable. I would like to visit there one day. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, the drone footage of the long stretch of beach over Fenwick Island, Delaware is really beautiful. I like that the area has not been overdeveloped with too many oversized beachfront hotels, but seems to have lots of great, smaller vacation rentals and hotels available. Thanks for sharing – I know my group will want to do a paddleboard excursion with dolphins!

Oh paddle boarding here would be wonderful.  We have red tide and with that brought all the sharks closer to the shores.  So we didn’t do any paddle boarding yet this year 🙁

Fenwick Island looks beautiful! I have never been in this area and was looking for some options. I live a couple of hours away from PCB and Destin, which are great beaches, but I do like to see some different sites as well. Prices are also great compared my area during the summer. I’ll definitely have to put this area on my list of places to go.
