The only good thing about this property was the view.
The only good thing about this property was the view. The unit was in terrible condition it needs new furnishings.
I never got the key for the upstairs deadbolt.
Unit should rent for about $100.00 a day.
The bed’s squeak every time you move

I have always liked Cayucos, it is not as crowded as the bigger beaches. They have plenty of places to eat and some nice antique shops. Plus the pier is open and it has benches you can sit and enjoy the view. Coffee they have that as well. If you don't like crowded streets with lots of people this is where you would enjoy visiting. Kids I have seen enjoy the play area and the beach. Now the shops do not stay open late.

Spent the weekend in this gorgeous bed & breakfast.
Spent the weekend in this gorgeous bed & breakfast. Spent 2 nights in the Fleurie Suite, and noticed right away the furniture was beautifully handcrafted. The staff helped me make it a special anniversary by offering a cheese/cracker plater and wine be delivered to our room as we enjoyed a beautiful stroll along the beach. For $50 it was worth it, and yes the Hearst Winery white chardonnay was delicious! It was so good we finished the bottle, and went to the winery to get another one. This small beach town is located between Hearst Castle and Morro Bay which is convenient if you want to have a nice romantic night after a day of running around the larger beach communities. Staff is amazing and owners are just as friendly, and working along side with their staff to make your stay feel more like staying with family and friends. Alexis and her father have done an amazing job keeping her mothers dream alive.

We like Cayucos, because it’s a small quiet town, not as busy as some of the neighboring cities and we like visiting the antique stores. We also like that we have the option to visit the surrounding cities like Harmony, Morro Bay and Cambria, where we can fine good restaurants and more shops and then come back to quiet Cayucos.

Cayucos is a great little town.
Cayucos is a great little town. Our accommodations were not so great. The apartment we stayed in was run down and in need of renovation. Way overpriced for what we received. Furniture was worn and stained. Mattresses were worn out and very uncomfortable. We left a day early, because we just could not sleep another night on them. Very noisy early in the morning. Delivery trucks to the post office on one side of the building and to the cookie business on the other side of the building.

Not enough eateries at night around 5-6, we had to drive to Morro bay. Duckies for lunch and Luna coffee at breakfast. Limited places, no place to have cocktails or beer at evening time or markets. Your out of luck cause everything shuts down at dusk
We booked a suite with 3 bedrooms and the place turned out to be great. Spacious, with a fully functional kitchen, spotlessly clean, the balconies opened out to a beautiful view of the Cayucos Pier. Even though the property is on the road, there was no disturbance form the traffic. A huge living area allowed us to chill inside and take shelter from the incessant rain when needed. Located close to several great restaurants, this property was worth our money. Seamless contactless check in and check out.
Lovely warm place to stop in a sweet town. The ocean is just a few steps away, and there are many places to visit while you're there - try the brown butter cookies, check out the antiques, or go in to the larger towns for more. The hotel itself was welcoming, my room lovely, really appreciated the access and having a fireplace to break the chill in the evening. Oh! And the gluten free cookies in the evening, and breakfast menu were wonderful - thank you for the extra effort!
Walking distance to beach, multiple choices for food & supplies & a great big thrift store nearby to peruse for treasures. The hotel is super cute, each room has a cute nautical name, there’s a lovely mural & a picnic “garden” area. They have a nice rare 11-12 checkout time, as well, giving you plenty of morning beach &/or breakfast time. The in-room coffee was delicious. Had a working fridge & microwave.
This is a great place for families or people with dogs. They recently redid the rooms, which are now well-appointed, comfortable and fairly quiet. There are areas for walking and bathing the dog, a great amenity after a trip to the beach, which is a couple of short blocks from the hotel. The restaurants and shops are all up and down the street and short walk away.
I hesitate to explain how perfect this little place is for fear that it will always be booked. Every detail has been given a thoughtful look. Whoever designed this has a great eye from the comfortable bed to the hangers, every detail is perfect. I spend over 250 nights a year in hotels all around the world. Very few are more comfortable than this.
Just incredible views of the ocean--right in front from the Balcony and the windows shows it all. You could just sit all day just watching the sea from your balcony. We saw dolphins, seals, and even a whale was near the pier (which is close by)! Alos very close to downtown Cayucos and Sea Shanty and local market just a 100 yd walk from your door.
Our room was huge with two large beds. We only stayed one night as part of our road trip but the room was the biggest by far of all the hotels in our trip. We had lots of space to spread out with all our bags. Location is good and parking was easy. The free fruit and muffins for breakfast (to take away) was an unexpected bonus.
very clean, great location, wonderful to wake up to the smell of freshly baked cookies since the cayucos cookie company is right infront of the house. great selection of kitchen utensils for cooking. plenty of extra blankets and pillows. it really felt like a home and not a hotel which was just great for a nice vacation.
Breakfast was excellent.
Enjoyed relaxing in our comfortable room for a couple hours before dinner with a glass of wine from the hotel. Watching the activity on the beach and pier provided entertainment. There was a choice of restaurants for dinner within easy walking distance.
Staff was always helpful.
- Clean room, not like many other motels/hotels with full carpet flooring .
- Good working ,big shower
- Free Parking in front room.
- Refrigerator and microwave present in room.
- Easy check in /out
- Good location : near beach, restaurants, supermarket all in walking distance.
lovely little motel in perfect spot to explore Cayucos. very large room with good facilities. easy parking (free). great coffee (Nespresso) and pastries / fruit for breakfast. some lovely outside seating areas too. staff super friendly.
The location is very convenient to the amenities in town and an easy walk to the beach. The room was clean and met my expectations for a moderately-priced beach hotel. I would stay here again.
Fantastic place in a great location - special shout-out to the friendly staff. Dylan was extremely helpful in posting an item I had left behind in the hotel room.
